Standard We Aim For

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

What We Have Done

Semantic structure: proper headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate the page meaningfully.
Keyboard access: every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
Skip link: a "Skip to content" link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
Color contrast: text and interface colors meet or exceed the WCAG AA contrast ratios.
Text alternatives: meaningful alternative text on images; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
Labelled forms: every form field has a genuine visible label rather than a placeholder alone, required fields are marked in text, and errors are announced.
Resizable text: the layout works when text is enlarged up to 200%, and reflows to a single column without horizontal scrolling.
Reduced motion: animation and smooth scrolling are disabled for visitors whose device requests reduced motion.
No JavaScript requirement: the site's content, navigation and quote form all work with JavaScript turned off.
Target size: buttons and links are sized for comfortable use on touch screens.

Known Limitations

Some photographs of completed installations came from the previous site and may have less descriptive alternative text than we would like. We are improving these over time. If a specific image matters to you and its description is inadequate, tell us and we will fix it.
